The end of an era

I've just finalised the post for challenge 627 - the last one for CHNC .... with sadness, but with gratitude for all those who have been on the DTs over the years including, of course, the present team ... a big thank you.

I'm grateful too for those who have entered the challenges over the twelve years ... it's always had so many willing to share their inspirational crafting.

Happy New Year

  1. It has been suck a pleasure to be on your Design teams, I will definitely miss both the Patterned Paper and the Christmas challenges, they have become a part of my routine for so long, I'm sure tomorrow will feel strange when I got to check the monthly challenges and next week, where is my Christmas card. Not a lot know, but my daughter works in a Kindergarten, and over the years my Christmas cards have gone to the Kindergarten, where the children write messages to their parents. Thank you for the outlet to my cards. Wishing you a Happy New Year, a year of peace and settling into your new routine.

  2. Thank you for the opportunity to be here with you in DT for the past two years. It was very beautiful, inspiring, creative... I wish Hazel and the other DT members a happy new year 2023 and many more beautiful cards. Good luck and health to all!

  3. I have really enjoyed being on your Design Team for the past 9 years - the first four with CHNC Extra and the last five with this one when the other challenge closed. It has certainly been a big part of my life for a while and like Cass I'm sure it is going to be strange and will probably take me a while on Saturday evenings (NZ time) to adjust to not uploading my post for the challenge.
I wish you and my teamies all the best and a Happy New Year to all of you. I'm sure that I will see most of you around blogland from time to time. I also followed your personal blog Hazel and hope to keep up with you through that if you still post (which I hope you do).

  4. Happy new year and all the best for the future Hazel!
Although I cannot quite match Suze for longevity - I became a member of Extra at the end of 2015 - but can certainly say that CHNC has been a big part of my life too! Not least for having ~50 cards made by the end of each year! I will definitely miss the challenge each week!
    All the best to everyone!

  7. Thank you Claudia. I just found it on Paper Playful before I came in here. Unfortunately I won't be able to join in much as you don't allow digital, I make mostly digital due to my bad hands and eyes. (You will see that most of my CHNC DT cards were digital).
I wish you all the best with your new challenge,
